    A short guide to writing your proposal:
    Your short concept note (2000-3000 words) should relate to issues relevant to the
    underlying project on responsible value chain governance in the South African wine
    industry, as outlined in the Project Summary.

    The proposal should include;
    1. A brief statement of the policy or practical problem to be investigated
    2. Some reference to the relevant literature
    3. Your research questions
    4. An outline of your research design
