    On November 13, Governor Cooper announced a NEW source of funding through the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. We encourage you to apply for this funding to any DNCR site, including the Symphony! More information and application:

  • 2025/26 Field Trip Transportation Reimbursement

    The funding awarded by this application provides reimbursement for direct transportation costs for educational trips to North Carolina Symphony Education Concerts. The funding is available to public and charter school groups that demonstrate need for assistance and submit a completed application. Priority will be given to Title I schools.

    Education Concerts in Raleigh are held at Meymandi Concert Hall

    Application Process:

    1. Once the application has been received and the grant has been approved or denied, applicants will receive an email from the North Carolina Symphony with instructions regarding submission of reimbursement receipts or invoices.

    2. Following the field trip, grantees must:
      • Provide a receipt from the transportation company or invoice from your school/district outlining the amount for payment/reimbursement
      • Provide your school or school district's W-9
      • Provide the address and name of the reimbursement check recipient
