The National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC) is accepting art and performance submissions for VoicED, our annual art event that takes place during Eating Disorder Awareness Week (EDAW). Building on our message from last year's campaign, we're continuing to raise awareness about the message, "Eating Disorders Can't Afford to Wait." By providing a "voice" to those with lived experience, we hope to empower everyone involved to continue to dismantle the discrimination around eating disorders, while cultivating a community of hope to those who are living with or affected by eating disorders.
NEDIC welcomes submissions from people from all communities and strives to create a program that reflects the diversity found in the eating disorder community. We think it is important to acknowledge the fact that eating disorders can affect anyone, regardless of race, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, and/or ability.
This year's event will take place on Tuesday February 04, 2020 from 7:00-9:00 PM (EST) at Super Wonder Gallery (584 College Street, Toronto, Ontario M6G 1B3). We hope you are able to join us!
