State Officer Requirements
- Attendance of 75% or better at local chapter meetings and activities (every year)
- A vote is taken and recorded in the minutes of the candidate’s local chapter to support the student's application for state office.
- GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while a SkillsUSA member.
- Must have competed in a Leadership or Professional Skills competition at the State Leadership & Skills Championships or earned the Statesman Award at the Mid-America Conference to be eligible to run for State Officer Team.

- April 24-26, 2026 (alt. May 1-3) - Intro Meeting, team-building activities, leadership training, DISC, and Officer positions finalized.
- May 26-29, 2026 - State Officer Leadership Academy (SOLA) – Camp Carol Joy Holling, Ashland
- May 29-June 7, 2026 - ^^National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC), Atlanta, GA
  - Potential Officer Leverage Training May 29-June 1, 2026.
