NSAC Scholarship Application
Eligible applicants must be graduating from high school in the spring of 2021 or may currently be enrolled in a college or universty, pursuing a full-time student schedule. The applicant will have an immediate family member (parent, guardian, or grandparent) who is a member of the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC), and expresses an interest, or has declared a major in a career in cooperative business, accounting or finance. The applicant must be a US citizen and the institution they attend be in the United States. Scholarship funds will be sent to and made payable to the school of choice.
Applications must be submitted online by midnight local time on April 30, 2021. High school or college/university transcripts can be uploaded to the application or mailed directly to NSAC (7946 Clyo Road, Suite A , Centerville, Ohio 45459-6119). Transcripts mailed must be postmarked by April 30, 2021.
Scholarship applicants will be notified of their application status by June 1, 2021.
- Complete all sections of the application and submit along with transcripts on or before the stated deadline.
- Have a copy of your transcripts uploaded with the application or sent directly from your institution to NSAC at 7946 Clyo Road, Suite A , Centerville, Ohio 45459-6119.
- Applications and transcripts will be verified for eligibility by the Selection Committee.
- All eligible applications will be forwarded to the Selection Committee for further review and determination.
- Applications will be judged on the following criteria:
- interest in pursuing a career in cooperative accounting or finance
- academic
- activities
- written essay
- financial need
- Up to ten applicants will be awarded scholarships in 2021.
- Eligible applicants can not be in receipt of a full academic or athletic scholarship to the institution in which he/she will be attending.
Award Distribution
- Scholarship applicants will be notified of their application status on or before June 1, 2021.
- It is each recipient’s responsibility to present written proof of matriculation or current grades in a post-secondary educational institution and a student identification number to NSAC for fund distribution. Funds will be paid directly to the recipient’s post-secondary institution.
