    CONSULTATION AGREEMENT

  • Melissa Ferreira-Gaulin, of New Season Canadian Immigration Services, is a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), the regulatory body responsible for licensing RCICs and protecting the public. A signed agreement is required before any case-specific advice can be provided as per CICC Code of Conduct.

Purpose and Services:  This Agreement allows the Licensee to provide:

    1. Preliminary Assessment (No Fee)
A brief review based on the information you provide to determine whether a full consultation is appropriate.

    2. Full Consultation (Paid Service)
If appropriate, a 1-hour consultation can be scheduled. The fee is CAD $200 (plus tax if in Canada).
During the consultation, the Licensee may:
    - Review your immigration or citizenship background and personal circumstances
    - Discuss pathways and programs relevant to your situation (excluding Quebec and Saskatchewan)
    - Identify eligibility requirements and potential challenges
    - Provide recommendations for next steps, based on the information provided and discussed
    - Answer questions about streams/programs, procedures, timelines, and documentation

Consultation Fee Credit: If you decide to move forward with professional services after the consultation, the consultation fee may be applied toward those services (excluding application reviews).

Limitation: This Agreement covers the preliminary assessment and a one-hour consultation. Any additional services or representation will be provided under a separate Service Agreement, if mutually agreed. Melissa Ferreira-Gaulin is licensed to provide advice relating to any province except Quebec and Saskatchewan; immigration to/for these provinces will not be discussed during the consultation.

Confidentiality: All information provided is confidential and will not be shared with any person or organization without your consent, except as required by law or the CICC Code of Professional Conduct.

Disclaimer: Advice under this Agreement is based solely on the information you provide. The Licensee is not responsible for incorrect advice resulting from incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information provided by you or third parties outside the Licensee’s office.

    Acknowledgement:
    - Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time by written notice.
    - No fees are payable if only the preliminary assessment is provided.

By signing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms above.
