Regional Cancer Research Capacity Building Opportunity: 1:1 career coaching with Emeritus Professor Kylie Ball (Indago Academy)
The NSW Regional Cancer Research Network (NSWRCRN) is offering funded places for members to participate in a tailored one-on-one 90-minute online career coaching session with Emeritus Professor Kylie Ball, Founder of Indago Academy.
Supported through the Cancer Institute NSW Translational Cancer Research Capacity Building Grant, this initiative aims to strengthen research careers across regional NSW.
Each coaching package includes:
- A 90-minute online coaching session with E/Professor Kylie Ball
- Pre-session virtual support (including email exchange) to understand you goals and tailor the session
- Post-sessionfollow-up including coaching notes, resources and suggested next steps
Career coaching can support you across a wide range of research-related areas such as:
- Career direction and development
- Attracting funding and strengthening grant applications
- Publication goals and writing challenges
- People management, mentorship and research leadership
- CV and track record review and polishing
- Preparing for promotion or advancement opportunities
- Managing competing priorities
- Building resilience, confidence and stress-management skills
Eligibility: NSWRCRN members who are healthcare workers, clinicians, researchers, PhD students (third year FTE or above), or consumers involved in cancer research or services within the Network’s regional footprint.
