The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Northwestern University is designed for intellectually curious adults age 50+. We believe that all adults should have the opportunity to participate in the rich intellectual life this program offers. Therefore, each year, we provide a limited number of partial and full financial scholarships to individuals whose financial situation precludes participation in OLLI without scholarship assistance.
OLLI scholarships provide the recipient with:
• 50% off of a full or half year membership. A limited number of full scholarships are available.
• The opportunity to register for 1, 2, or 3 highly-engaging study groups per term, depending on your membership level.
• The opportunity to register for other exciting events (on a first-come, first-served basis), including noontime lectures and social gatherings. Most events are free, but note that scholarships are not available for fee-based special events.
• The opportunity to share your time and talents via leadership roles.
OLLI is a member-driven organization. Our success is based on the active involvement of our members. Therefore, scholarship recipients are encouraged to participate fully in the OLLI program — including volunteering to lead study group discussions, considering coordinating study groups, and/or serving on committees. New members will be mentored into these opportunities over time. Personal interests and skills are always considered when engaging in volunteer opportunities.
INSTRUCTIONS: To be considered for a financial scholarship, please complete this form. Receiving your application at least 10 days prior to the catalog release will give ample time for review and processing prior to the start of registration.

NOTE: Scholarships are only offered in the Fall and Spring terms.
