NYCLIQ is the New York chapter of the North American Coalition of Lighting Industry Queers (NACLIQ), a growing network dedicated to advocacy, community, and visibility for LGBTQIA+ professionals and allies in the lighting industry.
NACLIQ exists to create safe spaces for connection, support, and dialogue—addressing critical issues such as workplace discrimination, income inequality, and representation, while also exploring lighting from a queer perspective.
NYCLIQ brings this mission to the local level by fostering community in NYC through events, networking, mentorship, and collaboration. We aim to empower queer voices, promote inclusion, and build a more equitable future for all lighting professionals.
