Deadlines

Registrations

• Early bird registration closes 1 July 2026.
• Final registrations close 1 October 2026.

Payments

• Early bird registration per dancer (before 1st July): $30

• Standard registration per dancer (2nd July onwards): $35

• Solo/Duo/Trio dancers competing multiple dances in the same league: $10 per each additional entry

• Solo/Duo/Trio dancers competing in more than one league: $35 per each league entry

• Late registration (from 2nd October): $45

• Add on Freestyle League $10 per entry

• Acro certificate registration: $35 per dancer

Crew details and music

• The event coordinator will send out new forms for crew requirements and music.
• These are due by 15 October 2026.
• Lighting: there will be pre-designed lighting states for you to select from when you complete the crew details form
• Video wall: all works will display the name of the piece on the video wall. All entries are allowed to create and submit a video, it is encouraged to help convey concepts especially for the Artistry League. All videos submitted must be in mp4 format and combined with the music track. This can be uploaded when you complete the crew details form

Terms and Conditions of entry

1. By completing this form, I confirm that I have the authority to enter and represent this school, studio, or individual entry.
2. I have read and understood the NZDL Information Pack. I agree to abide by the rules outlined within it, including those relating to venue and performance requirements, backstage conduct, audience and performance etiquette, fees, and health and safety. I confirm that I have shared this information with all participating dancers, supporters, and caregivers attending the competition, and that they agree to comply with these rules and expectations.
3. We acknowledge and understand that all individuals participate at their own risk. This includes dancers, parents, caregivers, supporters, teachers, and studio staff. New Zealand Dance League (NZDL) and all participants will follow the rules and take reasonable measures to ensure a safe environment.
4. We acknowledge and understand that New Zealand Dance League (NZDL), its sponsors, and associated parties are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage occurring during any part of the event, whether on-site or off-site. This includes, but is not limited to, stage runs, workshops, backstage activities, performances, and the awards ceremony.
5. Backstage support staff must remain with participants at all times and ensure that all participants leave the venue safely.
6. I confirm that all participants, and/or their parents or legal guardians where required, have been fully informed that photography and video recording will take place, and that informed consent has been obtained - waivers and permissions have been secured and are held on file prior to participation. NZDL reserves the right to request copies of these waivers and permissions at any time.
7. On their behalf, I grant permission for photographs, video footage, and recordings to be used for webisodes, the website, social media, and future promotional activities by New Zealand Dance League (NZDL) and partners.
8. I confirm that our NZDL performance will not include any themes, material, or files that breach copyright laws. I understand that it is my responsibility to obtain permission for any copyrighted material used in our performance.
9. Full payment will be made by 8 October 2026. A late fee will apply after this date, and no refunds will be issued once the due date has passed.
10. Crew details and music uploads must be finalised and submitted by 15 October 2026.
11. By signing and completing this form, all performers and guardians (including parents, caregivers, supporters, teachers, and studio staff) accept these terms and conditions in full.
