Thanks for your interest in the NZSIA Women’s Ski & Snowboard Mentoring Programme.
- Supports the personal and professional growth of women in skiing, while creating leadership and development opportunities for mentors.
- Mentors will be paired with mentees based on shared goals, interests and location.
- Time together may include informal check-ins, on-snow development*, career conversations or other guidance.
- Eligible time will be reimbursed as outlined below.
- The programme will conclude with an end-of-season feedback survey to help us evaluate and improve future mentoring opportunities.
- The NZSIA mentoring guide will be provided.
Details:
- Duration: mid July – mid October 2026
- Commitment: minimum 8 hours over the season, in a way that is meaningful and achievable for both parties
- Reimbursement: 8 hours at $51 per hour (must be eligible for employment in NZ)
- Location: in-person, phone, online or hybrid
- Requirement: end-of-season survey
*On-snow development may be offered if agreed by the mentor/mentee and approved by the resort of operation.
