    Ballymoney Spring Fair is a much-loved, family-friendly celebration, bringing colour, entertainment, and a vibrant atmosphere to Ballymoney town centre.

    The event creates a lively and welcoming setting where visitors come to enjoy the entertainment, spend time with family and friends, and explore a variety of stalls. It’s a wonderful opportunity for traders to be part of a fun family friendly weekend.

    We welcome a diverse mix of general, speciality, and artisan traders, along with a limited number of street food vendors.

    The Ballymoney Spring Fair is an event delivered by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council The market is delivered by NNCG.

    • Tables are not provided (small no of tables available for hire)

    Select your preferred electrical options, electric access is only available for traders located in the general street food area.

    Electricity is priced per socket

    3KW = 1 x 16amp socket

    6 KW = 2 x 16amp sockets or 1 x 32amp socket

    Traders are required to provide their own leads with 3pin round sockets and Outdoor suitable extensions. 

    Single phase power is provided.

  • Selection process

    • All traders will be notified if they have been offered a space or placed on the waiting list
    • Upon confirmation of a pitch offer payment will be required to secure your pitch. Non payment will result in cancellation
    • The selection process is detailed in our traders handbook.
      NNCG may, in their absolute discretion, deny a trading pitch with or without reason. Exceptions to the criteria for participation will be at the discretion of the NNCG and in the best interests of the market/event.
      In the event of any dispute regarding inclusion and all other matters relating to trading, the decision of NNCG shall be final, and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

     

    Cancellation Terms

    • Traders will receive a FULL refund plus their non returnable booking fee OR a credit if the market is cancelled due to covid/weather/other reasons outside our control.
    • Cancellations made by the trader will be refunded minus any non refundable booking fees if cancelled up to and including 14 days before the event.
    • Cancellations within 14 days of the event inclusive of day 14 are charged at the FULL rate and are non-refundable or non transferable.
    • If in the event we are able to refill a pitch that has been cancelled within 14 days we will consider a discretionary credit minus any non refundable fee.
    • In the event that the market is relocated no refund is offered (exceptions may exist eg - if the new location restricts product types or cannot accomodate all traders - eg street food, in this instance a full refund/credit or transfer will be offered)
    • Example of non refundable fees* - you will always be made aware of these at the time of booking, these include booking fees and street trading licences where applicable.
    • The non refundable booking fee will usually be 5% of the trading fee

    Cancellations by NNCG

    • In the event that the market is cancelled we will refund the FULL pitch fee or issue a credit/transfer where appropriate.
    • In the event that a market is postponed we will offer the trader the alternative date. If the alternative date is unsuitable, we will issue a credit/transfer or refund.
    • We are not liable for any direct or indirect loss occurred due to a cancellation, postponement, or relocation activity.
    • No compensation for travel undertaken or stock prepared for the market will be provided.
    • If we cancel your pitch at any point due to a breach of our terms, conditions and policies by the trader or their employees etc you will not receive a refund or compensation.
