  • Trading Criteria

Please ensure you read the traders handbook before completing, incomplete or poorly completed registration forms will NOT be processed.
  • Do you meet the trading criteria? - Answer the questions below

  • We recommend and encourage food producers to use local ingredients wherever possible (not merely bought locally, but of origin from within Northern Ireland). However we do recognise that many producers must use ingredients which cannot be sourced in NI, and will also accept applications from those producers that can’t source ingredients from NI.

If you are selling a food product please tell us more about the ingredients you use, in particular where they are sourced (if you are not producing them yourself) Simply using the term 'local' does not give us enough information. We need to know what ingredients are produced in NI.

  • We are working towards reducing the markets impact on the environment, this includes taking our traders activities into account.

This doesn't form part of our essential criteria at present, however priority will be given to traders that can show they are taking steps to reduce their environmental impact.

  • Toys must comply with the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011 in the UK. Even if you work from home and produce toys on a small scale, they still need to conform.

If you think you are making toys and you intend to sell these, then you must make sure that your product meets the essential safety requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

  • The EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013 lays down the rules for cosmetic products in the UK. Before you can sell your cosmetic on the UK or EU market, it should comply with these regulations.
