Free Community/Charity Pitch Eligibility Criteria
Eligible
You are eligible for a community/charity pitch if you would like to
- Raise awareness of your organisation’s activities, aims, and objectives.
- Highlight your services to the wider community.
- Promote upcoming events and initiatives.
- Sell raffle tickets or community event tickets.
- Recruit volunteers for your organisation.
- Have an annual turnover below £250,000.
Not Eligible
You are not eligible for a free community/charity pitch if your organisation:
- Has an annual turnover exceeding £250,000.
- Is a political party or group whose focus at the market will be advancing political agendas.
- Is a religious organisation or group where activities at the market will primarily focus on proselytising or evangelising.
- Wishes to sell products, services or membership.
- Wishes to solicit donations outside of the designated pitch area (a donation box on the pitch is allowed).
Additional Information
If your organisation has an annual turnover exceeding £250,000 or wishes to sell products, services or membership, please register as a casual trader to express interest in booking a trade pitch.
Priority is given to charities and groups serving the local area of each market, though we welcome applications from organisations based farther away.
Electricity access is not typically available, so please plan accordingly.
