Agreement/Jurisdiction:
The person(s) whose signature(s) appear on this contract, known as "Client", agree that Nikki Wise Hair name known as "Artist/s", shall provide services to apply the best of her abilities, in the manner described in this document. This is a binding contract which incorporates the entire understanding of the parties, and any modifications after signed document is not permitted. Client assumes responsibility for all collection costs and legal fees incurred should enforcement of this contract be broken.
Liability:
Any allergies should be reported prior to application. The Client agrees to release the Artist/s from liability for any complications due to allergic reaction.
Method of Cancellation/Rescheduling:
Due to the short wedding season & high demand dates, NIKKI WISE HAIR does not alot for subtractions to contract once contract is signed. Should your event date get canceled all together, the deposit along with any monies already paid for your event are non-refundable. In addition to that, there will be cancelation fee of $200 charged to the card on file of the person responsible for this contract. Please contact Nikki Wise via email at nikki@nikkiwisehair.com to cancel your event date. Should your date need rescheduling and NIKKI WISE HAIR has your new date available, contract date will be moved to the new date. If your original event date is rescheduled within a 12 month period there will be a rescheduling fee of $200 added to the contract total. If your date is moved more than 12 months in advance no fee will be applied.
Client Responsibilites:
It is the Clients responsibility to provide a safe and adequate working environment for the Artist/s. The location must include:
*Lots of natural or lamp lighting
*Enough space
*Outlet access
*Table for hairstlyist tools
*Low back chairs
*Organization/attendance of Bridal Party to ensure Artist/s can maintain agreed upon timeframe.
*Contact person (other than bride) for event day communication.
Service Charges:
Any hairstyle (regardless of simplicity) serviced on event date by Artist/s are charged at a flat rate except for services that fall under the additional fees category. (see below)
Service fees are as follows:
*Bride $250 (includes: one in-studio trial, event day style, styling tools & products required for Artist/s to complete look, veil application/removal tutorial for person/s assisting bride in dressing, & additional emergency bobby pins for touch-ups.)
*Bridal Party $90 (includes: event day style, styling tools & products required for Artist/s to complete look, additional emergency bobby pins for touch-ups, tutorial for end of night removal of style.)
*Flower Girl $50-$90 (Inclusions are same as bridal party. Price is based on childs hair density, length and thickness along with desired hair style and childs ability to remain still while hot irons are being used.)
Additional Fees:
There will be additional fees for any style requiring application of clip in extensions. NIKKI WISE HAIR is not an extension specialist & does not install extensions on event day except those that can be clipped in. Clip in extensions MUST be 100% real hair with clip ALREADY sewn into track. NIKKI WISE HAIR does not hold any responsibility for damage to any extensions or extensions product. Synthetic extensions will melt under heat and if mixed in with your natural hair can cause severe damage to the integrity of your natural hair. NIKKI WISE HAIR does not hold any responsibility for damage to person/s natural hair when styling with heat and/or using extension products.
There will be additional fee for wet hair. NIKKI WISE HAIR does not "set" hair on the event day. All persons receiving services MUST have dry set hair and be prepared for thermal heat styling. If a member of the wedding party can have hair dried and set prior to their time with the Artist/s no additional fee will apply, however if a member of the wedding party stalls Artist/s due to hair drying time, an additional fee of $25 will be applied to that persons service fee. Please inform wedding party of this rule.
There will be additional fee of $25 for any member of the wedding party who is stalling the efficiency of working time due to absence or late attendance. It is imperative that all members of the contracted party receive services in a consistent and timely manner as to not disrupt the timeline of the days events. Contact person of this contract is in charge of organization and accoutability of bridal party.
There will be an NSF fee of $45 per check for any check/s that bounces. Unpaid balances due to NSF check/s will be charged to the card on file of the person/s responsible of this contract.
Payments:
A deposit fee of $100 is due at the time of booking: this payment is non-refundable and must be paid in order to secure your event day. Remaining bridal fees along with any travel fees are due at time of trial. All Brides are required to complete a minimum of one trial before event day. Additional trials can be booked at the rate of $125 per style. Remaining service fees can be paid at the time of service on event day. Bride MUST assign contact person to collect all fees from bridal party and complete check out with Artist/s. Any fees not collected by contact person are subject to $35 per service late fee charged to card on file of the person responsible for this contract. NIKKI WISE HAIR accepts cash, check an/or all major credit cards (except American Express). Due to high processing fees NIKKI WISE HAIR no longer accepts payments via Venmo, PayPal, Cashapp or any likewise 3rd party payment provider.
Travel:
A mileage fee will be charged as follows: Lake/Porter County locations within a 25 minute radius to NIKKI WISE HAIR will travel at no charge. Any location outside of a 25 minute radius will be charged a travel fee of $1 per mile plus the cost of tolls and parking fee if applicable. Any locations out of state or outside of the Central Time Zone will be charged travel fees plus overnight accomodations. All travel fees will be due at time of Bridal trial.
Photography:
Photos or videos may be taken for promotional use and advertising purposes online and printed material. Full credit will be given to any professional photos and videos taken by photographers and videographers.
