 Welcome to the First Home Finance Subsidy Application!

We are excited to assist you in taking the first steps towards owning your home. To begin your application process, please ensure the meet the minimum requirements below:

1. Income Range: Your household income must be between R3,501and R22,000 per month.

2. Citizenship: You must be a South African citizen with avalid ID or a permanent resident with a valid permit.

3. Age: You must be over 18 years old and legally competentto enter into a contract.

4. First-Time Buyer: You must be a first-time home buyer,meaning you have never owned a fixed residential property before.

5. No Prior Subsidy: You must not have previously benefitedfrom any Government Housing Subsidy Scheme.

6. Stand with Permission: You must have a stand withpermission to build on that stand, especially relevant in rural areas.

 

 Proceeding With the First Home Finance Subsidy Application!

To begin your application process, please follow the instructions below:

1. Download the Application Form: Visit First Home Finance Application Form to download the First Home Finance application form.

2. Complete the Form: Follow the page-by-page instructions below to ensure accurate completion of the form:

- Page 1: Complete all required fields.

- Page 2: Skip this page.

- Page 3:

- Complete Section A.

- Complete Section C together with your spouse if you are married.

- Only include the youngest dependent’s details in Section B. If the dependent’s surname is different from the applicant’s, an affidavit is required.

- Page 4: Complete Section D only.

- Page 5: Complete this page together with your spouse if you are married.

- Page 6: This page must be completed by a commissioner of oath, such as a Police Officer.

3. Gather Required Documents: Ensure you have the following documents ready to be submitted along with your application form:

- Proof of Identity: A certified copy of your ID or passport.

- Proof of Income: Recent payslips or a letter from your employer confirming your income. If you are a social grant recipient, a letter from SASSA. If self-employed, provide six (6) months of bank statements.

- Bank Statements: Bank statements for the last three months.

- Permission To Occupy (PTO): Title deed or PTO. This can be obtained from the local tribal authority.

- Dependent Identity Documents: ID or birth certificate for the youngest dependent only.

- Spouse Identity Documents: If married, the spouse must also sign the application form and attach their ID.

- Certification: All documents need to be certified no earlier than 3 months ago.

4. Attach to Online Application: Return to this page and attach your stamped application form along with the required documents to complete your submission.
