    Important Infomation About Your Online Transaction

    When completing your transaction online, there is an additional processing fee. The Tax Collector's office does not receive any portion of this fee.

    Title Fees:

    • Replace Motor Vehicle or Mobile Home Title: $77.75 + $2.63 processing fee
    • Replace Boat Title: $8.50 + $0.56 processing fee
    • Print Electronic Title: $2.50 + $0.38 processing fee

    Your card will only be charged if your application is approved. 

    Electronic Titles

    To confirm if your title is being held electronically, please go to https://services.flhsmv.gov/MVCheckWeb/ to check the status of your title. It is important you do not select the incorrect selection when checking out, as your request may be rejected.

    No Additonal Fee Option

    To avoid the processing fee, you can complete your duplicate Florida title application by mail.  To submit by mail, you must complete the title by mail wizard.

    How Long Will It Take to Receive My Title?

    A duplicate title requested online or through the mail will be processed within 6 business days, and you should receive your title in 2-4 weeks.

    Immediate Replacement 

    If you need your title immediately, please schedule an appointment at one of our offices. 

    There are No Refunds

    Once your transaction is submitted we are unable to refund, reverse, or cancel your transaction.

    By submitting this form, you acknowledge and accept that you are providing sensitive information to the Manatee County Tax Collector in order to enable us to complete your transaction.

    Online title services are only provided to Manatee County residents.

Once your odometer has been entered, it is final and may only be changed to be higher than its previous entry.

  • A duplicate title that is requested within 180 days from the last title issuance date and was lost in the mail does not require a fee.

The fees below include the base fee and the processing fee. The processing fee is submitted to the payment processor and no part of that fee is kept by the Manatee County Tax Collector’s Office.
