Sabor y Motor Fest 2026 – Food Vendor Requirements
Equipment
Food vendors must provide a fully operational food truck, trailer, tent, or approved food preparation setup capable of safely serving food during the event. All equipment must comply with applicable health, safety, fire, and City of Denton regulations.
Staffing
Vendors are responsible for adequately staffing their booth with friendly, professional personnel. Staff should be knowledgeable about the menu and provide excellent customer service. Branded attire is encouraged.
Supplies
Vendors must maintain an adequate supply of food, beverages, serving materials, and operational essentials throughout the festival. Vendors should have a contingency plan for unexpected demand or supply delays.
Temporary Food Permit
All food vendors are required to obtain a Temporary Food Permit from the City of Denton Health Department prior to the event.
Permit Fee: $50 (paid directly to the City of Denton).
Vendors are solely responsible for obtaining the permit before the event.
Event Guidelines
Setup & Cleanup
Booth setup must be completed at least one (1) hour before the festival opens. Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary booth throughout the event and must remove all equipment, trash, grease, and materials immediately following the event.
Event Compliance
Vendors must comply with all event schedules, load-in/load-out procedures, waste disposal requirements, and electrical or generator guidelines established by Sabor y Motor Fest management.
Food Vendor Responsibilities
Allow placement of official Sabor y Motor Fest 2026 signage when requested.
Complete vendor load-in between 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM on event day unless otherwise instructed. Branded tents, tables, chairs, trailers, food trucks, and generators are permitted, subject to festival safety requirements and approval.
Obtain and maintain all required permits, licenses, food handler certifications, and health department approvals required by the City of Denton and the State of Texas.
Cancellation & Force Majeure
If Sabor y Motor Fest 2026 is canceled, postponed, or interrupted due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the event organizers—including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, fire, flooding, labor disputes, civil unrest, or public safety concerns, vendors will receive a refund of applicable vendor fees, or a prorated refund if the festival is partially completed. Please note that any fees paid directly to the City of Denton for Temporary Food Permits are governed by the City's policies and are not refundable by Sabor y Motor Fest or Original ME.
