Please submit this form with any relevant information or other specific information relating to the request. Your application will be acknowledged upon receipt, and then assessed. This may require a member of the Housing team to visit your house to seek further information regarding your proposal.

Please note that as per your Scottish Secure Tenancy, you are only permitted to keep 2 pets.

If you already have 2 pets or are requesting permission for more than 2, we would still encourage you to fill this form out, however please note that permission may be refused by us.

If you are refused permission you will be advised of this in writing, and the reason(s) for refusal will be stated in this letter.

You have indicated that you are requesting permission for an XL Bully breed, and it is therefore your responsibility to follow the legal guidance. This includes ensuring that you have the relevant exemption certification in place, that the dog is muzzled and under control at all times when in public, in your garden, or if a member of staff is visiting your property.

We require a copy of your exemption certificate and request that you upload a copy of this below.

Please note that we are required to strictly enforce the two pet limit where there is an XL Bully within the household and you will therefore be required to make arrangements should you have more two pets.

Failure to follow these guidelines could include you being fined up to £5,000, sent to prison for up to 6 months or both. Osprey Housing will take formal action to ensure the safety of the wider community with the possibility of action being taken against your tenancy if necessary.

Osprey will record a marker on your address to highlight to staff and contractors that there is an XL Bully within your household. You will be required to ensure that your dog is muzzled and under control at all times when staff are present. Every effort will be made to ensure that visits are prearranged to enable you to secure your pet.
