Although our private lessons are taught from the Otumoetai College Music Department, they're available to students attending any school or of any age!

Private Lesson Details

Please note that private lessons are paid for on a termly basis at the following rates:

$35 per 30 minute lesson.
$50 per 45 minute lesson.

An invoice will be issued to you partway through the term.

When you receive your invoice please take careful note of the invoiced amount, due date, payment reference, and account number.

10% OPA Loyalty Discount
If you've also chosen to enroll in a drama class, the drama class fee will be included in your invoice so there's no need to pay the drama class fee before its advertised due dates. Also, you'll be eligible for our OPA loyalty discount: 10% off all term fees! Please note: the $20 early bird discount can't be claimed in addition to our 10% OPA loyalty discount (10% is the greater saving).

Weekly on Thursdays (Starting February 12th).

Place:
Mount Baptist Church. 10 minute walk from Mount Maunganui College.

Description:
Advance your drama and public speaking skills alongside like minded students in a collaborative and supportive environment. As well as expanding on crucial acting foundations, stagecraft techniques and practical performance skills, these classes are perfect for students looking to build confidence in public speaking, day to day communication, and most importantly, in themselves. Students can expect to partake in drama exercises and improvisional games; pen, perform and perfect entertaining speeches; and see their confidence soar with regular exposure to live performance. 

Showcase:
At the conclusion of the school term, MMC students will perform at our Term 1 showcase. Admission for guests to watch the showcase is free. Our Term 1 showcase will be held during the week of March 30th.

These sessions are fun, energetic and interactive, and focus on the advancement of young students who are looking to be more confident in performance, public speaking, communication, and most importantly, in themselves. Furthermore, these term classes lay down crucial acting foundations in terms of theory, technique and practical performance knowledge.

Showcase:
At the conclusion of the school term, MMI Drama Class students will perform at our Term 1 showcase. Admission for guests to watch the showcase is free.
Our Term 1 showcase will be held during the week of March 30th.

Description:
Oxford Performing Arts’ weekly drama classes for Papamoa Primary students focus on developing confidence and fostering creative minds. These fun, energetic and interactive sessions are excellent for building strong public speaking skills, foundational performing arts knowledge, and arguably life’s most important skill: confident communication. Enrolments are open to students in Years 3-6. 

Showcase:
Papamoa Primary Drama Class students will perform at our junior showcases, held twice a year. The first junior showcase will be held during the week of June 29th (the final week of Term 2). There's no admission fee for guests to watch any of our showcases.

Description:
Oxford Performing Arts’ weekly drama classes for Greenpark School students focus on developing confidence and fostering creative minds. These fun, energetic and interactive sessions are excellent for building strong public speaking skills, foundational performing arts knowledge, and arguably life’s most important skill: confident communication. Students will partake in drama games and exercises, collaborate as a full class and in smaller groups, and workshop a variety of scripted and self-devised performances. Enrolments are open for students in Years 3-6.

Showcase:
