Private Lesson Details

Please note that private lessons are paid for on a termly basis at the following rates:

$35 per 30 minute lesson.
$50 per 45 minute lesson.

An invoice will be issued to you partway through the term.

When you receive your invoice please take careful note of the invoiced amount, due date, payment reference, and account number.

10% OPA Loyalty Discount
If you've also chosen to enroll in a group drama class, the drama class fee will be included in your invoice, plus you'll be eligible for our OPA loyalty discount: 10% off all term fees! In this situation, there's no need to pay the group drama class fee before its advertised due dates. The $20 early bird discount can't be claimed in addition to our 10% OPA loyalty discount (10% is the greater saving).

Private Lesson Location
Our private lessons are taught from various Tauranga studios, depending on the type of private lesson you're enrolling in. We'll be in touch after your enrolment to confirm the location of your private lessons.

High School Drama

Weekly on Wednesdays (Starting March 5th).

4:00pm - 5:30pm, Aquinas College, room to be finalised.

Description:
Improve your drama skills alongside like minded students from local high schools, work together to devise and perform your own scenes, and advance your speech and drama abilities in a lively, collaborative, and supportive environment. As well as expanding on crucial acting foundations in terms of theory, technique and practical performance knowledge, these classes are perfect for students looking to build confidence in public speaking, day to day communication, and most importantly, in themselves.

Showcase:
At the conclusion of the school term, and if adequately prepared, our High School Drama students will perform their devised material at our showcase, held at the Tauranga Boys’ College Theatre. Admission for guests to watch the showcase is free. Oxford Performing Arts’ Term 1 showcase will be held on the evening of Thursday, April 10th.

Payments can be made online before Friday, March 14th. Due to limited class numbers, enrolments are only confirmed upon receipt of payment.

These sessions are fun, energetic and interactive, and focus on the advancement of young students who are looking to be more confident in performance, public speaking, communication, and most importantly, in themselves. Furthermore, these term classes lay down crucial acting foundations in terms of theory, technique and practical performance knowledge.

At the conclusion of the school term, MMI Drama Class students will perform at our Term 4 showcase. Admission for guests to watch the showcase is free.

Enrolments are open to students in Years 3-6.

Papamoa Primary Drama Class students will perform at our junior showcases, held twice a year. The next junior showcase will be held on Friday, December 12th (the final week of Term 4). There's no admission fee for guests to watch any of our showcases.

Description:
Oxford Performing Arts’ weekly drama classes for Greenpark School students focus on developing confidence and fostering creative minds. These fun, energetic and interactive sessions are excellent for building strong public speaking skills, foundational performing arts knowledge, and arguably life’s most important skill: confident communication. Students will partake in drama games and exercises, collaborate as a full class and in smaller groups, and workshop a variety of scripted and self-devised performances. Enrolments are open for students in Years 3-6.

Showcase:
Greenpark School Drama Class students will perform at our junior showcases, held twice a year. The next junior showcase will be held on Friday, December 12th (the final week of Term 4). There's no admission fee for guests to watch any of our showcases.
