  • Informed Consent and Acknowledgement I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by Brookvale MTB Camp during the selected camp. In exchange for the acceptance of said child’s candidacy by Brookvale MTB Camp, I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Brookvale MTB Camp and all its respective officers and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of participating in selected camp sessions. In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against Brookvale MTB Camp including all coaches and affiliates, all participants, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all physical activities, including cycling, hiking and playing games.

  • Terms and Conditions
    - All participants in activities led by Brookvale MTB Kids Camp will be required to sign a release of liability waiver in order to take part.
    - You agree to disclose all health related concerns to the organization prior to commencing any activity. This includes any pre-existing conditions, including, but not limited to things such as; asthma, diabetes, vertigo, allergies etc.
    - Failure to show up for camp dates will result in forfeiture of payment.
    - Riders are expected to be prepared for any weather condition. ie, rain jacket, long pants, towel etc.
    - Riders will be responsible for their own nutrition throughout the day. ie, lunch, snacks and hydration.
    - You agree that your child's bike is safe and well maintained and is in good working condition for use in off road mountain biking conditions. Failure to satisfy major safety requirements, that can not be fixed trailside by a coach or instructor, may cause you to forfeit your lesson. 

    Payment and Registration Policies
    - All registrations must be paid in full prior to the camp start date.
    - Cancellations within 2 weeks prior to start date will be subject to full charge and not eligible for a refund.
    - Cancellations outside of 2 weeks of start date will be eligible for a refund only if the camp spot can be filled by the start date. If the spot can not be filled by the first day of camp, there will be no refund.
    - Cancellations due to illness or injury prior to and during camp are not eligible for refund. 
    - Any cancellation qualifying for a refund is subject to a 20% admin fee. 
    - 'No shows' will be subject to full charge.
    - Camp will not be cancelled due to rain or other mild weather conditions, unless safety becomes an issue. There will be no refunds due to weather forecasts or conditions at any given time during camp.
