Pine Needle Pick-Up Guidelines
Pick-ups are scheduled on a weekly cycle WITH THE 1ST pick up schedule to start MAY 6th:
- Any requests submitted by 5:00 PM on Monday will be included in that week’s route, beginning Wednesday.
- Requests submitted Tuesday through the following Monday will be scheduled for the next week’s pick-up.
Important Reminders:
- Plastic bags will not be collected.
- Only recyclable paper bags—available locally at Ace—will be accepted.
- Each property is allotted 20 bags per year at no cost.
- After the initial 20 bags, additional pick-ups will still be scheduled at a rate of $4.25 per bag.
Sustainability Effort:
We’re proud to share that collected pine needles will not be sent to the landfill. Instead, they will be repurposed locally for composting and soil production, supporting area farms and sustainable practices.
