FOOD VENDOR BOOTH RULES AND REGULATIONS
• Vendors must supply their own lights. 50ft extension cords are recommended.
• Basic electricity will be provided in the form of two 120V 20A outlets. Additional circuits must be requested in sets of two.
• Vendors may only use the space assigned to them. No sharing of space is permitted without the consent of PMF. All solicitation of funds, signatures, etc, must be confined to your vending areas.
• Vendors must supply their own signage that includes all items being sold along with pricing. Items not listed on signage may not be sold.
• Each vendor is responsible for the set-up and teardown of their area, as well as maintaining a clean and organized activation throughout the event. This includes, but is not limited to, the removal or trash and recycling to appropriate containers onsite. Failure to properly clean your area at the end of the event will result in a cleaning fee.
• Each vendor must supply appropriate trash receptacles for their activation.
• Please limit the use of "single use" plastic utensils and containers.
• Each vendor must supply their own cash, p.o.s. system, or combination hereof, and must accurately account for every transaction.
• All food vendors must follow all City of Chicago Department of Public Health regulations at all times. Expect an inspection from the Health Department.
• All food vendors must supply at least one appropriately rated fire extinguisher for their activation. Expect a Fire Inspection and please refer to the Fire Prevention Guide for additional information.
• Load out begins Sunday night as soon as all attendees are clear from Union Park, generally around 23:00. All vendors must completely load out at this time. Anything left in your activation will result in a cleaning fee being assessed.
• Playing music will NOT BE ALLOWED AT ANY TIME DURING THE FESTIVAL. If you wish to bring a speaker for set-up/teardown, that is fine. It must not be used during open festival hours.
• No glass containers. No exceptions.
• Styrofoam of any kind is prohibited.
• No single serve packets of condiments allowed.
• Vendors must follow all instructions from PMF staff. If you have an issue, contact the Food Vendor Coordinator for clarification.
