Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Clinics Multicenter Advancement Network (PPACMAN) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to optimize the clinical care of patients with psoriatic disease through multidisciplinary collaboration, education and innovative research.
The goals/vision of PPACMAN are to:
- Research the effectiveness of these care models themselves as well as harnessing the power of combined clinics to facilitate deep clinical and immunophenotyping with an emphasis on understanding the transition from psoriasis to psoriatic arthritis using techniques such as digital health, novel outcome measures and biomarkers
- Improve education for health care providers treating patients with psoriatic disease about the importance of early identification of psoriatic arthritis and the value of collaborative care for patients with psoriatic disease
- Support the formation of similar clinical models and regional derm-rheum partnerships This includes studies to identify mechanisms for improved PsA screening, comorbidity identification and management, and defining ideal care outcomes.
The 2025 PPACMAN Annual Meeting will take place in December in New York (date TBD).
