Welcome to the Media Credentialing Application for the
2020 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Use this application if you qualify as Official Race Media.
If you applied for a Media Credential for 2020, prior to March 19, 2020, and were accepted, you do not need to reapply.
Media credentials are granted at the discretion of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Credentials are not transferable and may be revoked at any time. Information submitted will be used to determine your accreditation status:
· Official Race Media
· Special Access Media
Official Race Media accreditation is reserved for media outlets providing general race coverage for their audiences or other news distribution with a documented history of news and events coverage. Official Race Media credentials are free of charge.
News organizations producing daily or approved weekly/monthly newspapers; national news/motorsport organizations or magazines/periodicals; internet-based news organizations or motorsport sites; wire services, national television/radio networks; local television stations; and/or photo agencies.
Representatives must be at least 18 years old as of August 24, 2020 in order to be eligible for media credentials.
Freelance journalists must be on verifiable assignment or may be denied official access, and must submit a Special Access Credential Application.
Credentials will be issued to authorized personnel only for the purpose of providing timely coverage of the event.
Credentials are not transferable and may be revoked at any time.
All applications will be carefully screened and applicants will be notified of their accreditation status via e-mail within ten (10) business days of receipt by the PPIHC.
On-site registration will NOT be available during Race Week.
DEADLINE: This application must be received by the PPIHC on or before Wednesday, August 19, 2020. (11:59PM – Mountain Standard Time).
