  • Details regarding the logistical and/or financial support requested on the proposal

  •  Note that:

    • Within each project typology,
      • each principal investigator may submit only one proposal for funding
      • Each researcher may only be funded within a single project.
    • The maximum funding per project is limited to support up to two researchers on field mission, exclusively to cover eligible expenses to its execution. The allocation of this funding should be proportional to the needs of each researcher, not implying an equitable distribution.
    • If the project indicates only one researcher on mission, the total amount foreseen will be automatically reduced to 50%. Similarly, in exceptional circumstances, duly justified and approved by the Coordination Committee after consultation with the FCT, when one of the researchers has to cancel their trip and cannot be replaced by another member of the project's research team, the total amount foreseen will be reduced to 50%.
    • In the case of projects with two researchers, with partial funding (due to lack of funds in the budget line), whenever only one researcher can be part of the field mission, provided that this is planned and/or has been duly authorized, the amount to be allocated will correspond to the amount for one researcher, if the total amount allocated allows it.
    • Depending on the resources available, PROPOLAR's logistical support may be extended to other team members who are also part of the mission. This proposal must be duly substantiated and other sources of financing must be specified.
  •

    15. Total number of team members for whom logistic support is requested

  •

    16. Of these total, how many are applying for financing?

    • PROPOLAR will grant financial support to a maximum of two researchers per project, and if the project is funded, one of them must be a young researcher.
    • Proposals framed in an already funded program (field 04.) will only be considered for logistical support and will not be considered for financing.
  • 16.*
  • Otherwise, this project proposal {01Proposal:city} is limited to a maximum of {maxfund}€ (in field 16.1) for the mission of {16Number} researcher.

Justify the funding sources for researchers requested only for logistical support. For PROJECTS C - 'Laboratory research projects in foreign institutions', justify the need to access the specified laboratory conditions and point out possible alternatives.

  • Additional support to attend an international scientific meeting

    • PROPOLAR additionally supports up to 500€ for the participation of one (1) Early Career Researcher (ECR) member of the team for oral or poster presentations at scientific meetings held abroad. The ECR must be the main author of the communication. The scientific meeting must take place by September 30, 2026.
