Pittsburgh Youth Chorus will be welcoming new singers for mid-year entry this January 2026!

We will have open classes in January for new singers to come to see what we are all about. You may sign up for an open class on this form.

OPEN CLASSES/ PLACEMENT DATES
If you would like to join PYC in January 2026, each new singer in grades 3+ is required to participate in a placement session. This is a short group format session where PYC conductors can determine the best choir placement for your singer!

Placement sessions are not an audition, but a fun activity that will feel comfortable and let your singer just enjoy singing!

All placement sessions take place at Duquesne University.
Our choirs rehearse on TUESDAYS.
Our High School program rehearses from January-April only. You may still try an open class and register in the fall for a January 2026 start date.
