Drilling

1. The timer will start when competitor says he/she is ready.
2. The competitor will put his/her steel in machine and pack machine to rock and drill two holes marked on rock.  If you are driller #1, you drill the two holes marked #1, and so on. A judge at the rock will tell him/her when the drill had gone deep enough.
3. The competitor must move the leg of the machine on his/her second hole of drilling.
4. When competitor has completed second hole to the satisfaction of the judge, he/she will pull out of hole and pack machine back across starting line.  When he/she has crossed back over starting line, the time will stop.  After competitor has completed turn, machine should be laid down, not thrown down.
5. Participants must wear proper MSHA-approved protection (steel toed boots, eye protection, and ear protection).
6. Situations may arise that the judge may have to rule on.

Mucking

1. Competitor will take position at designated distance from muck pile and will receive signal to begin from judge.
2. The competitor must fill ore car to the satisfaction of the judge.
3. When the car is filled, timer will stop.
4. Competitor will back car up, dump muck out, and next competitor will take position to begin.
5. If car leaves track during competition or if the car runs over and disables hose the competitor is disqualified. 
6. Competitor must take muck from a different place each time he/she goes in to muck pile.
7. Participants must wear proper MSHA-approved protection (steel toed boots, eye protection, and ear protection).
8. Situations may arise that the judges may have to rule on.

Mucking Only: $15
Drilling Only: $15
Both: $30

If for some reason your registration is not accepted, you will be refunded IN FULL.
