  • This Memorandum of Understanding ("MoU") establishes a cooperative relationship between The Non-Profit and the Representatives, subject to the following terms and conditions:


    1. Relationship of Parties

    The Representatives are independent entities and are not employees of The Non-Profit. This MoU does not create an employer-employee relationship.

    2. Declaration of Service Charges

    Representatives must annually declare the amount charged to event participants. Breaching the approved service charges (Up to a maximum of CAD $2,000) is a violation of this MoU and may result in disciplinary actions, including termination of this agreement.

    3. Annual Submission of Contact Details and Profile

    Representatives must annually update their contact details, including biographical information and headshot photographs. This is crucial for maintaining accurate and current records.

     4. Representative Incentive

    Every representative get's a complimentary summit pass to participate in the summit.

    5. Media Advertisement Approval

    All media advertisements conducted by the Representatives in their respective countries must receive prior approval from The Non-Profit. This ensures consistency and alignment with The Non-Profit’s standards and message.

    6. Prohibition of Assignment or Subcontracting

    The assignment or subcontracting of the Representatives’ duties or responsibilities under this MoU is strictly prohibited.

    7. Prohibition of Inappropriate Behaviors

    Representatives and their staff shall not engage in any inappropriate behaviors, including but not limited to visa racketeering, visa fraud, credit card fraud, or any illegal activities. Engagement in such behaviors will result in immediate termination of this agreement.

    8. Consent to share information with appropriate authorities

    By serving as a Country Representative for our events, you agree that if it is discovered that you have charged participants more than the amounts agreed upon by both parties under this agreement, you expressly consent to the disclosure of your personally identifiable information, including details of your company or organization, to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the appropriate Canadian security authorities for further investigation. This clause is binding and enforceable under the applicable laws governing this agreement.

    9. Compliance with Alberta Laws

    All activities under this MoU shall comply with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. This includes, but is not limited to, adherence to legal standards and regulations pertinent to the activities of The Non-Profit and the Representatives.

    10. Effectiveness and Modification: This MoU shall become effective upon signature by both parties and remain in effect for ONE YEAR or until terminated at the end of the annual summit or conference, whichever comes first. Modifications to this MoU must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

  • This MoU serves as a mutual understanding of the cooperation and expectations between CeFIE Canada and the Event Representatives.
