Competition Overview

The Camera House PFL Image of the Year celebrates the photographers who help tell the story of community footy through their images. Open to photographers of all experience levels, the competition recognises outstanding photographs captured during the 2026 PFL season that showcase the passion, people and moments that make community footy special across Perth.

Key Dates

Entries Open: 5:00pm AWST, Monday 3 August 2026
Entries Close: 9:00am AWST, Monday 17 August 2026
Finalists Notified: By 25 August 2026
Winner Announced: Perth Football League Awards Night – 7 September 2026

Judging Panel

Entries will be reviewed by an experienced judging panel comprising representatives from Camera House, Sarah Morton, Michael Wilson, Charlie Lowson, Adam Crane and Perth Football League CEO, Andrew Dawe.

Finalists & Prize

Three finalists will be invited to attend the 2026 Perth Football League Awards Night, where the Camera House PFL Image of the Year will be announced. The winning photographer will receive a professionally framed print of their winning image and a $1,000 Camera House Gift Card.
