• Adoption Interest Form

  • We're excited that you're looking to bring home a new family member!

If the animal you are interested in is in a foster home please let us know if you are okay giving out your email and/or phone number to the foster parent so we can connect you!

If you are interested in adopting an animal in the shelter, you can fill out this form but we will ask for you to come by to meet them in person. No appointment needed! See our open hours here.

Already met this animal at the shelter? Fill out this form and give us a call to place them on a 24-hour hold! A $100 hold fee is required (non-refundable and non-transferable).

What does it mean if an animal is in a foster home?

These animals are not at the shelter; they are living in temporary homes, usually because the shelter is too stressful for them. For many of them, their foster family has been caring them for at least a few weeks and knows a lot about them.

    What is the adoption process?

    1. Virtual Meet & Greet. After we receive your interest form, our Adoptions team will call you to talk to you about their behavior and medical history and to schedule a meet & greet with the foster home. The foster parent will show you their foster animal and answer any questions you may have about them. If you have already met them, we will skip this step.
    2. Shelter Meet & Greet / Pick-Up. Our team will schedule you to pick up the animal at the shelter. Cats go straight home with you, but for dogs and rabbits you can do a meet-and-greet at the shelter first.
    3. Complete paperwork. Provide an ID, pay the adoption fee, and sign the adoption agreement. Some adult animals are also eligible for a 3-day Foster-to-Adopt prior to completing the adoption.
    4. Take your new family member home!
