  • We are excited to welcome you to participate in "Hecho En" Arts & Craft Fair in the Chicago’s Pilsen Neighborhood this summer. This Art Fair is focused on the Artists, Artisans and Makers of our diverse communities in Chicago. Every year we have about 100 makers lined on 18th Street, between Ashland and Paulina Avenues exhibiting many styles, cultures, and colorful original artwork and original designed products. This arts and craft fair honors the dedication of our creative community and the public who appreciates and supports the Maker’s movement. Thank you for your interest in applying to be a vendor!

    Important Deadlines!

    May 15th, 2026:  Deadline for applications.

    June 1st, 2026: Deadline for accepted artists to commit to exhibit and to submit booth fee.

    Arts and Craft Fair Dates: August 29 & 30 / 10am - 6pm

     

    GENERAL INFORMATION

    All artwork displayed must be original and produced entirely by the hands of the exhibiting artist.

    MEDIUM CATEGORIES

    You may apply in more than one category. Please submit separate images for each medium.

    ART: Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Painting, Paper, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Zines, Books, Wood Objects, Hand-Crafted Furniture

    CRAFTS & HANDMADE GOODS: 

    Small Batched Items: This category includes works, handmade soaps, candles, T-shirts, stickers, totebags, note cards, and limited edition items.

    NOTE: 

    We are NOT accepting food vendors. This includes small batched wrapped goods and drinks.

  • Application / Booth Fee Information:

    $250 Booth Fee will be invoiced electronically and included with your notification of acceptance via email.  

    Please note:

    Booth fees go towards supporting all aspects of the Event and PACH collectively with the costs of: permits, promotional materials, and all logistical operations and requirements by the City of Chicago to put on a Special Event such as this on 18th Street.

    *Any artist submissions not accepted this year will be cataloged for future opportunities and events with Pilsen Arts & Community House.

    Refund and Cancellation Policy
    There will be NO REFUND for cancellation of participation once you have been accepted and paid your booth fee.
     
    BOOTH INFORMATION
    *All booth spaces are sized to accommodate tents measuring 10 ft. wide by 10 ft. deep.

    *Each vendor must provide their own Tent/Weights/Tables/Chair. 

    *All Tents must be weighted down for safety of all participants. Suggested weight is 40lb-60lbs on each leg. Vendors will be asked to take down their tent if not properly weighted down and forfeight their space and participation with no refund.

    *No electricity is provided.

    *All work must carry a selling price and must be for sale.

    *Artists must be committed to exhibit work on both days from 10am to 6pm.

    *Booth sharing is allowed, maximum 2 artists. (Each artist must submit application. Both artists must be accepted and approved. Please use notes section in application to let us know who you are planning on sharing with.) 


    Sales and Taxes
    Artists retain all revenue from the sale of their work. No commission on sales is due to the Hecho En Arts & Craft Fair. Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting the State of Illinois and City of Chicago combined sales tax (10.25%) on any sales.
