Jr. Core Staff Application

At Pinelodge Bible Camp, everything we do is Christ-Centered, Others-Focused, and Seriously Fun! We’re building a team that shines Christ’s love and makes camp an unforgettable experience for every camper. We’re looking for staff who are passionate about discipleship, love working together, and are eager to grow in their faith. When parents send their child to camp, they can trust that our staff are dedicated to serving with their whole heart.

Joining our team isn’t just a job—it’s a Christ-centered adventure! You’ll focus on others by mentoring campers, encouraging teammates, and serving with joy. And you’ll have serious fun while doing it! From deep conversations around the campfire to wild games on the field, every moment at camp is an opportunity for God to shape you, challenge you, and surround you with lifelong friends. Schedule

As a Pinelodge Jr. Core Staff you are required to serve at camp for at least 3 weeks and up to 5 weeks in addition to one week of staff training. We will also be having a weekend staff retreat after the last week of camp. You will not be on staff during Sr. High Camp. If you want to be a camper for Sr. High Camp, you must register like all campers.

June 29 - July 3 - Staff Training REQUIRED

July 6-10 - Sr. High Camp nope

July 13-17 - Intmdt Camp 1 REQUIRED

July 20-24 - Intmdt Camp 2 REQUIRED

July 27-31 - Day Camp REQUIRED

August 3-7 - Jr. High Camp 1 possible depending on maturity

August 10-14 - Jr. High Camp 2 possible depending on maturity

August 14-16 - Staff Retreat OPTIONAL

Compensation

As a Jr. Core Staff you will have the opportunity to fundraise up to a total $1800. We will show you how to do this :)

Pinelodge will not be offering you any compensation in addition to your raised funds. What you raise is what you get.

You will receive all raised funds at the end of summer.

Staff Manual Acknowledgement

I confirm that I have read the Pinelodge Bible Camp Staff Manual and understand that:

• I am applying for a ministry leadership role
• I am expected to follow camp policies, leadership direction, and behavioral standards
• These expectations apply for the full camp season, including time between camps

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the inerrant Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He came to earth being supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Matthew 1:20

We believe that man was created in the image of God, that man sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature. Genesis 1:26 & Romans 3:23

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative, substitutionary, and complete sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood. Romans 5:8

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there for us, as High Priest and Advocate. Romans 8:34

We believe in the second imminent visible and personal coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to establish His worldwide kingdom on earth. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 & Revelation 11:15

We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God eternally. John 3:16 & John 5:29

We believe in the great commission which our Lord has given to His Church to evangelize the world and to disciple believers. Mark 16:15

Holding the Scriptures as our final authority, Pinelodge Bible Camp believes in a biblical view of sexual purity prior to marriage, faithfulness within the context of marriage, and that marriage is defined as a union between one man and one woman. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4, Romans 12:10 & Genesis 2:24

Staff Commitment & Pledge

Please read carefully. This commitment reflects the heart of serving at Pinelodge Bible Camp.

1. Leadership & Conduct

I agree to:

• Follow Pinelodge Bible Camp’s rules, policies, and leadership direction
• Serve with a cooperative attitude during all camps and between camp weeks
• Take responsibility for my actions and performance

I understand that poor attitude, poor performance, or ongoing conflict may result in dismissal.

2. Personal & Spiritual Integrity

I understand that staff are selected based on spiritual life and character.

I commit to:

• Pursuing personal spiritual growth during the summer
• Avoiding sexual immorality, gambling, and occult activity
• Refraining from non-medicinal drugs, alcohol, and tobacco during my employment

3. Beliefs & Representation

• I agree with the Pinelodge Bible Camp Statement of Faith
• I understand that I represent Christ and Pinelodge Bible Camp both on and off camp property
• I give permission for photos or videos of me to be used to promote the camp

4. Commitment to Serve

• I have prayed about this decision
• I am committing to serve for the full time period I have agreed to
• I will communicate clearly if serious circumstances affect my ability to serve
