2024 Mud Weekends Leader Feedback Logo
  • Thank you for coming to Laurelville Mud Weekends this year!

We hope that camp was an amazing time of watching God move in and through your students’ lives. As a leader, your honest feedback helps us create camp programming that introduces students to Jesus and inspires them to live life with him.
  • Pre-Camp (Trip Leaders Only)

There's a lot that goes into planning a trip to Laurelville! We're always looking for ways to make the process efficient and effective for you as the trip leader.
  • Terms and Conditions

We introduced updated terms and conditions this year in an effort to clearly communicate the various policies, definitions, and deadlines involved in bringing a group to camp.

We're searching for the balance between terms, conditions, and policies that will enable us to be good stewards of the limited space we have on campus without putting undue stress or strain on you as a Trip Leader.

We value your feedback and we'll continue to make feedback-informed changes to find that balance.

  • The Camp Experience

Phew! Your paperwork is complete, your bags are packed, and your bus or van is *finally* pulling into that long Laurelville driveway! You're greeted by our team and then you're off to your housing. These next questions ask you to provide some feedback about your weekend at camp.
  • Sessions: Club and Bible Study

  • Club consists of three main parts: Skit, Music, and the Message.

Skit/Run On shows campers that Surf City is a safe space to be themselves. By putting our staff on stage in costumes doing silly stunts, we hope that every student understands that camp is a safe space to be their authentic weird selves.

Music provides a fun and accessible experience that invites campers to connect with God through song. We realize that every camper likely has a different understanding of what "worship" is. Our goal is to introduce students to worship through song, and invite them to connect with God.

The message introduces students to Jesus and inspires conversations throughout the week. It's a clear and accessible presentation of the Gospel message.

Bible study allows you and your students to engage with God's word on a deeper level. Bible study is always optional from PKF Camps, though your group may have decided to make it a part of your camp routine. This year, we opted to make Bible Study an on-your-own piece of camp and provided a curriculum through the Trip Leader Resource page.
