Description: Modern Calligraphy for Beginners is a skill-based workshop designed for individuals with little to no experience with calligraphy! This fun, laid back, and engaging workshop will help students learn:
- Purpose and technique
- How to care for calligraphy tools
- The structure/anatomy of lowercase and uppercase letters
- Creation of an individualized alphabet
- Connecting letters into words
Most of all, this workshop is intended to help participants relax and de-stress while learning the beautiful art of Modern Calligraphy for your leisure and DIY project needs! Your RSVP includes:
- Two hours of hands-on instruction
- One carefully curated, take-home calligraphy kit
- Each calligraphy kit includes an exclusive workbook, an alphabet exemplar, custom practice templates, one (1) unique pen holders, two (2) metal nibs, a jar of my favorite black calligraphy ink, high-quality calligraphy paper, and final project supplies
- One drink of choice (wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available)
