Disclaimer:
Repetition of Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) Periodic Training
In accordance with current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) periodic training requirements, drivers should ensure that training undertaken forms part of an approved 35-hour periodic training programme delivered by an approved training centre.
Attendance on the same or substantially similar periodic training course more than once within the same 5-year training period may not be accepted where it does not satisfy current regulatory requirements for periodic training content. It remains the responsibility of the driver to ensure that all completed training is eligible for upload and acceptance against their DCPC record.
Approved training centres must deliver courses in accordance with applicable standards and may advise drivers where repeat attendance could affect the validity of periodic training hours. Drivers are advised to check their current training record before booking further courses.
