Minden-Tahoe SkyFest returns to Carson Valley, Nevada, October 16–17, 2026, with a bold new name and elevated experience—formerly known as the Aviation Roundup. As the only air show in Northern Nevada, Minden-Tahoe SkyFest delivers high-flying excitement against the stunning backdrop of the Sierra Nevada. Just minutes from Lake Tahoe, this premier aviation event draws visitors from Reno, Tahoe, and beyond for a weekend of aerial performances, community celebration, and unforgettable views—making Carson Valley a must-visit destination.

Credentials are provided to working media on assignment. Photojournalists are required to provide to Minden-Tahoe SkyFest and Minden-Tahoe Airport a minimum of 50 photos within 45 days of the event.

Creators are welcome, however the Minden-Tahoe Airport does not pay creator fees.

Confirmation of credentials will be provided 48-72 hours following submission.

Credentials will be available for pickup starting Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at the Minden-Tahoe Airport office located at 1146 Airport Rd, Minden, NV 89423 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Media must present ID at time of pickup.

During the event, media must always display their credentials.

A signed waiver is required to receive a media credential. Access is limited secure locations at the airport and media must be accompanied by a representative for the event.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide complimentary airfare, however we will evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis through our destination partner, Visit Carson Valley, and local hotel partners who may be able to provide a media rate for lodging.
