The Saint Joseph the Worker Award is presented to a non-teaching member of the school community (staff, administrative assistant, or, volunteer, etc.) who demonstrates the Christian values of faith, humility, and outreach to the marginalized in their lives. Saint Joseph’s quiet strength is a model for humility, and just as St Joseph is a Pillar of Families, the recipient of this award is a pillar of the school community. The recipient of this award is a humble servant, not seeking accolades and instead has his or her heart focused on the mission of the school. Nominees may be volunteers, donors, non-teaching staff members, chaplains, pastors, or administrators.
The recipient of the Spirit of St. Joseph the Worker Award is selected among a pool of candidates nominated by principals, parents, and advisory school board members
