Over the last several years, we've been working on making Users Group much more interactive. That means we need to have interesting discussion topics, answering your questions, running interactive polls, and members sharing useful information with each other. Our target is to spend about 50% of the meeting on the traditional RSA information sharing and the other 50% on member focused issues.
Prior to each Users Group meeting, we'll remind you about this survey to gather any ideas you may have for agenda topics, discussion questions and ideas, poll topics, and anything else you may want to hear about.
- Agenda Topics - can be things you want RSA to talk about, issues, changes, etc. These are the typical Users Group type things.
- Discussion Topics - can be about anything you want, RSA, RAILS, Patrons, Operations, Methods and Practices, and more. This is your chance to share or discuss things happening in your library, or community.
- Questions - have a question for the RSA staff or member libraries? Somebody else probably has it as well. These are typically more focused in scope than discussion topics.
- Poll Topics - These are quick hit interactive Zoom Polls. These can be true/false or multiple choice. Wondering how many people are doing X thing? Sounds like a poll question!
Please provide any suggestions you have to help us build the Users Group agenda and make the meeting more interesting for all involved.
Thank you!
