Award Criteria
The Randolph Foundation Grants Program aims to support a variety of initiatives benefiting Randolph residents and the surrounding communities.
In reviewing funding requests the Board will be looking for the following:
- How the request aligns with the Randolph Foundation's mission
- Uniqueness and importance of the proposed work
- Impact on the residents of Randolph and surrounding towns.
- Results timeframe: Priority given to projects yielding results within a year
- Other sources of funding that have been requested or pledged. Preference will be given for projects that are multi-funded and also financially supported by the requestors.
Only 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofits and faith-based organizations in good standing with the IRS are eligible. Individuals may request grants but must work with a nonprofit funding sponsor. Grants must serve the North Country (Coos County) exclusively with priority given to Randolph and the immediate surrounding towns. Grants may not be used for a building structure or a capital campaign. Only one application per organization per year is permitted. If you have received a grant from the Randolph Foundation, you must be current and compliant with all grant requirements and reporting or your application will not be considered.
Post-Award Reporting Requirement
Within 1 month of the conclusion of your program/activity please provide the Foundation with a grant report. You may also provide reports as events unfold. Every grant is different so the Foundation does not believe there should be a one-size-fits-all rule for grant reporting. Reports that include a mix of the following are ideal and appreciated:
- Photos and videos
- Testimonials
- Written report on impact (this does not have to be long and extensive)
- Outcomes
- Metrics and statistics
Not providing a report and the quality of your report will be taken into consideration for any future grant request.
