Join us for an exciting evening learning about bats! There will be host of family fun bat activities from 6:00 until 6:30 pm. There are wonderful story and informational books about bats that you can see. Do you want to eat like a bat? There are recipes so you can do this at home. Compare your wingspan to a giant Golden-crowned flying fox! See the difference between a good and a bad bat house and more!
Kate Rugroden, Director of Special Projects, Bat World Midcities, will give a presentation all about bats at 6:30 pm. We will then go outside with our Wildlife Acoustics Echo Meter Touch 2 Bat Detectors to see if we can find any.

6:30 pm-7:15 pm | Presentation by Kate Rugroden, Director of Special Projects for Bat World Midcities
7:15 pm-8:30 pm | Outdoor exploration. Search for bats using a Wildlife Acoustics Echo Meter Touch 2 Bat Detector.
RSVP is required. Limited space available. Bug spray is recommended prior to arrival.
Participants will receive a registration confirmation prior to the event. In case of inclement weather, inside activities will still be presented.
