Thank you for considering Rescue Revolution to help you find your next furry family member.

We are delighted to help you make the right match and adopt a pet. We will make every effort to ensure that the adoption experience will be positive for you, your household members, and your new pet.

Here are a few things to help you know what to expect in the adoption process:

ADOPTION PROCESS

Step 1: Submit an Adoption Application.

Step 2: Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted by one of our volunteers.

Step 3: We will schedule a meet and greet for you and the pup of your choosing. We ask at that time you bring anyone living in the household and any other pets so that they can be introduced as well.

Step 4: You, and your family, should take the time to agree the pup is the perfect fit for your family. Remember, adopting a pet requires 100% commitment from you and your family.

Step 5: If all goes well, the Adoption Application is signed, Adoption fee paid, and your new pup is ready to go to his forever home. For puppies that are too young to be spay/neutered, an appointment will be setup for a later and you will need to make sure they have no food or water past midnight the night before, have them at the rescue by 5:45AM the morning of, and pick them up that same afternoon.
ADOPTION FEES

Adoption fee covers: Brief vet exam, Fecal test, Deworming, HW test (& treatment if HW+), 1-2 sets DHPP vaccinations (depending on age), Bordetella vaccination, Rabies vaccination, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, and started on Flea/HW preventative.

Puppies receive 2-4 sets DHPP vaccinations and all of the above services and vaccinations.

Adoption Fees are set at our discretion and start at $300; some things considered in cost of adoption are age, size, and breed which affect cost of care.

Please remember, we are not able to offer the same adoption fees as shelters or other adoption specials because we are a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue and not government funded. We solely depend on adoption fees, donations, and volunteers.

ADOPTION APPLICATION

Application requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Have a valid driver's license or other government issued ID showing your present address.
- Have the consent of your landlord (if renting).
- Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide medical treatment and proper care of the pet.
- Agree that everyone, including children, must meet and greet the pet and volunteer(s) of Rescue Revolution before leaving with the new pet.
- Understand that at any point you are dishonest, your application will be denied and the pet will be put back up for adoption by Rescue Revolution.
The information provided in this application is to help assure that you and your family are fully prepared to bring home your new pet and to insure the pet is placed in a home that has a safe, happy, and a healthy environment.

At or before adoption, all pups will be dewormed, spay/neutered, microchipped, put on flea & HW preventative, parvo tested, fecal test, and completely vaccinated (including rabies, Bordetella, leptospirosis, coronavirus); Puppies will also receive 3-4 sets of DHPP. If a pup is heartworm (+), they begin a slow kill preventative right away and you would only need to keep up with their normal flea/heartworm preventative.

I understand he introduction process may take several weeks or may even require consulting with or hiring a trainer.
I am willing to follow the recommendations of the foster home and rescue to make a smooth transition for the pet into your home (crating while gone/down time, feeding habits, etc.).

I, {name}, make the above statements and voluntarily enter into this agreement to be a caregiver to the animal(s) I have applied for and provide a safe home and environment. I approve and agree that the organization, Rescue Revolution, may visit and enter my home to personally and visually confirm that my home is safe and suitable for the animal(s) I am adopting.
