  • 3. Vendor Product Policy & Exclusivity

  • To maintain variety and fairness for all, KTS Farmers Market has the following product guidelines:
Vendors must list all products they intend to sell in this application.
Any new product additions must be submitted for approval before being sold at the market. No vendor may add products without prior approval from market management.
We aim to limit duplication. In most cases, no more than 2-3 vendors offering the same general product type will be approved for the same market day.
Specialty items (such as freeze-dried candy, kettle corn, or other unique goods) will be limited to one vendor per market. This allows each vendor the opportunity to thrive and ensures shoppers experience a diverse selection.
If more than one vendor applies for the same specialty category, we may place those vendors on a rotation schedule so that everyone has an opportunity to participate throughout the season.
Product approval and booth placement are based on balance, diversity, and overall community needs.
    Category Caps for Vendor Success
To protect vendor success and create a thriving, balanced market:
Each product category (e.g., baked goods, candles, skincare, etc.) will be limited to no more than two–three vendors per market.
Specialty items may be limited to one vendor per market.
This ensures variety, healthy competition, and strong sales opportunities for all participants.
Category cap decisions are made at the discretion of KTS Farmers Market management.
I understand that KTS Farmers Market limits vendor categories to protect balance and fairness, and that final discretion rests with market management.

  • 4. Rotating Vendors & Priority Placement

  • We operate a hybrid system:
Monthly Vendors (Anchor Vendors): Prepaid, reserved booth space, fixed map placement, social media highlights.
Weekly Vendors (Drop-In): Pay per market via envelope, assigned space each week based on availability.

  • Booth Sharing Policy

Each booth space is reserved for one vendor/business only.
Booth sharing between separate businesses is not permitted. This ensures clarity for insurance, product approvals, and vendor accountability.
If family members or partners wish to sell under one business name, they must submit a single vendor application with product list.
Vendors who wish to operate separate businesses must apply individually and may request adjacent booth spaces (subject to availability).
Booth spaces may not be transferred, sublet, or shared without prior written approval from KTS Farmers Market management.
I understand that booth spaces are reserved for one vendor/business only and cannot be shared or transferred without written approval from KTS Farmers Market.
