  • Plein Air Painters Welcome – Toledo Festival of the Arts

    The Toledo Artists Club welcomes artists to paint en plein air during the Toledo Festival of the Arts. 

    The Toledo Artists Club is proud to present The Toledo Festival of the Arts, set amid the scenic beauty of the Toledo Botanical Garden. This juried festival will feature the work of more than 130 artists and is expected to welcome over 10,000 art enthusiasts. This free public festival celebrates outstanding artwork from Northwest Ohio and beyond.

    If you are not applying to be an artist vendor, but would love to enjoy the celebration and paint on the grounds, consider signing up.

  • As always, artists are welcome to come earlier in the week to paint on the grounds, though TFA plein air signage will not be available at that time. When do you plan to arrive that weekend?
  • If we have a strong turnout of painters, we may host a plein air competition where artists can submit a piece to be judged, with prizes awarded. Is this something you’d be interested in? There would be a small participation fee.
