However, due to a lack of clear strategies, Teachers in both churches and schools are facing an ever-growing array of challenges. They find themselves bound by past authoritarian pedagogy while being confronted with modern educational concepts. This workshop covers key topics such as understanding the developmental characteristics of children aged 0-12, classroom management, and the latest teaching methodologies.

This workshop explores ideas for the parents to support lower to middle primary learners (P1–P4) in using Chinese at home. It provides participants opportunity to learn practical ways to foster a positive and engaging learning experience through emotional connection (Heart), hands-on engagement (Hand), and cognitive stimulation (Mind). By acquiring such skills, the parents will be empowered to raise the child’s motivation and confidence in learning and using the mother tongue. This workshop is suitable for parents who studied Chinese as their second language.

This workshop is aimed at helping pastors, co-workers, church leaders, and missionaries develop a clearer understanding of the concept of the Chinese-as-a-second-language (CSL) generation and gain deeper insight into their unique characteristics and needs. Participants will have the opportunity to explore a strategic blueprint for nurturing the CSL generation and develop effective strategies to foster their passion, ability, and confidence in engaging with Christian Chinese ministry.
