You’re one step closer to the education you’ve been seeking. We’re excited about your interest and readiness to begin the admissions process.

Foster College, formerly known as Southern Bible Institute & College, is a non-denominational institution dedicated to equipping men and women as competent servant leaders with a Bible-centered worldview. We prepare individuals through rigorous, faith-enriched academic instruction for effective service in the church, marketplace, and world.

To apply, submit a completed formal application to the Admissions Office by the deadline for the semester you wish to start. Foster College is committed to placing each student in a program that best supports their success and growth. 

The application process is self-managed, meaning it is your responsibility to ensure that all necessary information and documentation has been submitted. Ensure both the application and fee are submitted or waived before the semester deadline. Below are the required components for your application.

All Applicants will need:

1. Completed Admissions Application
2. Statement of Faith
3. Church Endorsement
4. Two Recommendations from a pastor, supervisor, or mentor. 
5. $25 Non-refundable Application Fee

Applicants with Prior College:

1. Sealed/ Unopened Official transcript(s) from all applicable schools

Computer usage is intregal and essential to the educational process at this college. Proficiency in accessing and effectively using a computer is neccessary to complete assignments, access grades, and receive information. Upon admission, all students will be provided with a personal email address and other useful technology tools for use throughout their enrollment at Foster College. 

There are options and opportunities available to assist you in this area - such as the availability of the computer lab, computer classes and tutoirals. Failure to address any issues concerning computer accessibility, illiteracy, or capabilities will not sway the requirements of course work. 

Writing is a crucial part of the educational process at our college, integral to both certificate and degree programs. A certain level of writing proficiency is required for all coursework. To assess your writing skills and spiritual journey, you must submit an essay (introduction, body, and conclusion) with a minimum of 250 words. Ensure that all three of the following points are addressed:

Write an essay detailing: 1) your understanding of salvation, 2) how you became a believer, and 3) how this college will help you achieve your goals. Please write or paste your essay in the space provided below.
