    FY 2024-25 CO-OP PARTICIPATION FORM
  • Sonoma County Tourism (SCT) offers partners the opportunity to join SCT’s Destination Sales (groups/meetings) and Travel Trade teams at select Client Events, Familiarization Tours, and Tradeshows throughout the year. If you are interested in attending one or more of the events below, simply initial the line next to the fee to indicate your participation interest. Participation is rolling and will remain open until all opportunities are filled. Space is limited and participation is based on a first-response basis. The fees displayed below include per person participation costs only. Participating partners are responsible for all personal travel-related expenses.

    • Client Event: Bay Area
      Sept. 18-19 / San Jose / $150 per person

      This client event targets meeting planner cleints from Silicon Valley. Format: Meet the Winemaker luncheon at Scott's Seafood, San Jose. SCT will provide group transportation on a bus for all participants. SCT will be launching the “Bay Area Group Transportation Incentive” during this event. Participants are highly encouraged to invite their top clients to these events.

      Client Event: Destination Sales Sip & SITE
      Oct. 2024 / Minnesota / $550 per person

      Client Event: Southern CA Client Event
      Dec. 2024 / Los Angeles & Orange County / $175 per person

      This client event is a one day/evening event in conjunction with Society for Incentive Travel Excellence - SITE Southern California’s Holiday Event & Charity Gala (Dec 11-13). SCT’s event will take place in LA or OC. The event will take place at an on-brand venue and SCT will utilize the award winning “Meet the Winemaker” virtual wine tasting video series.  Location TBD. Target markets include meeting planners from the entertainment, finance, insurance, and medical industries. Participants are highly encouraged to invite their top clients to these events.

      Client Event: Holiday Sales Event
      Dec. 2024 / San Francisco / $200 per person

      Back again for the 3rd Anniversary, this event is held in San Francisco with a holiday theme. Previous year events included chartering the San Francisco Giant baseball team’s private yacht and cruising the bay. This event is a nice evening event is a unique location that attracts meeting planner, travel trade, and PR clients from around the Bay Area. Participants are highly encouraged to invite their top clients to these events.

      Client Event: 3rd Parties at Waste Mgmt. Open
      Feb. 2025 / Phoenix, AZ / $TBD

      Client event in Phoenix, utilizing the Waste Management Phoenix Open – PGA Golf Tournament as an anchor event to entertain clients. Clients include 3rd party meeting planner organizations, such as AMEX Global Meetings & Events, HPN Global, and HelmsBriscoe, among others, including independent planners. The event will be held for a series of day between Wed – Friday. SCT is coordinating a hospitality experience for participants. Participants are highly encouraged to invite their top clients to these events.

      Client Event: Destination Sales 
      May 2025 / NYC & Chicago / $500 per person 
      This client event will be a roadshow format in New York and Chicago. Agenda is likely to include arrival in Chicago one day early, event the following day, followed by a flight to NYC and an event in NYC before returning home. Venue will be tied to a special event or Meet the Winemaker experience. Target markets include meeting planners from the finance, insurance, and medical industries. Participants are highly encouraged to invite their top clients to these events.

      Sales Mission: Travel Trade Canada
      2025 / Vancouver, B.C. / $500 per person
      This client event is travel trade focused in Vancouver, B.C. Target markets are luxury travel coordinators and agents who book California vacations. Venue will be tied to a special event or Meet the Winemaker experience. Participants are highly encouraged to invite their top clients to these events.

      Client Event: S.F. Giants Home Opener 
      April 2025 / San Francisco / $250 per person
      Client event in San Francisco using the San Francisco Giants first home game of the 2025-26 season as the anchor event to entertain clients. Target markets include meeting planners from the technology, finance, and medical industries. SCT is coordinating an experience direc.tly with the S.F. Giants. Participants are highly encouraged to invite their top clients to these events

      Travel Trade Event: California Cup - Tour Operator Event
      May 9 – 13, 2024 / Carlsbad, CA / $2,500 per person
      The California Cup is 4-day golf focused event that brings together domestic and international decision makers from the travel trade to California. This event is about creating relationships through experiences. Clients are not golf centric but are using golf as a way to spend time with clients. California supplier attendees include Destinations Marketing Organizations (such as SCT), hotels, attractions, tour operators, and other destination suppliers. If you want to make an impact in the domestic an international leisure sales area, this is an excellent opportunity to meet with decision makers in the travel trade from around the world.
