Service For A Cause (SFAC) Foundation, Inc. invites all Central Texas high school students to participate in the 2025 Battle of STEM & Robotics Competition on 13 December 2025 from 01:00 pm to 3:00pm. All participants will compete for monetary educational grants which, will be given at the conclusion of the event.
The STEM & Robotics Competition is designed to allow high school students to explore and create new adventures using technology. The program is a component of SFAC vision in Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics - S.T.E.A.M initiative, which allows students to bring new technological advancements to the front of industry under the Education Program.
Through the program, SFAC will award funding to high school students who present outstanding technology initiatives during the competition event. An expert panel of information technology members will evaluate each presentation according to the evaluation criteria sheets. SFAC will award the team (two members) or individual with monetary educational grants to assist in furthering their education or business goals.
Technology has evolved rapidly and changed how we function as a society. We pay bills, order food, buy goods, services & commodities, conduct meetings, body scanners, teaching, health care, and driving electric cars to show how far technology has changed the world. How do we remain connected by the transformation of technology to improve our lives for the next century? Your task is to present or demonstrate a technological advancement in one of the following categories.
a. Artificial Intelligence
b. Social Media
c. Non-fungible tokens - NFTg. Software Engineer
d. Virtual, Augment, or Mixed Reality - VR/AR/MR
e. Metaverse
f. Robotics
g. Software Engineer
h. AI/Gen AI
To apply, simply complete and return the enclosed application to Jon Hawkins, Board Director for SFAC by 4 February 2025. A panel of judges will decide a winner and runner-up in STEM & Robotics categories after presentation of all technology endeavors.
