Fourth.Media is proud to announce the production of Snapcase: Legacy, an uncompromising full-length documentary chronicling the extraordinary four-decade journey of Buffalo’s legendary hardcore band, Snapcase. Produced by filmmakers William Saunders (DEADGUY : KILLING MUSIC), and Nathaniel Shannon (DEADGUY: KILLING MUSIC, SAINT VITUS BAR: THE FIRST TEN YEARS BOOK) the documentary is based on the book Optic: A Visual Archive by Tom Bejgrowicz and Snapcase, and aims to solidify Snapcase’s enduring legacy in the annals of aggressive music. Snapcase has been a cornerstone of the punk and hardcore music scenes, influencing generations of fans and artists alike with their groundbreaking albums, such as Progression Through Unlearning. The film explores their rise from scrappy teenage upstarts to leaders of the hardcore movement, and their continued relevance and evolution in the music scene today. The documentary will take viewers on a journey to Buffalo and beyond, delving into the band’s history through exclusive interviews with key figures in the hardcore scene, unreleased archival footage, and live performances.

SUBMISSION STEPS:

1. FORMAT YOUR FILES TO WHATEVER DIMENSIONS AT 96-150dpi.

2. LABEL INDIVIDUAL FILES IN THE FOLLOWING FORMAT: your-name_(firstname-lastname)snapcase_location(as specific as possible)_year_subject_fileID#

For example:

2. PUT THOSE FILES IN A ZIP FILE.

3. NAME THE ZIP FILE: lastname_firstname_snapcase

4. UPLOAD YOUR FILE(S). EACH UPLOAD BUTTON HAS A MAX OF 1gig.

    IF NECESSARY, SPLIT YOUR UPLOADS UP. 

5. SIGN. this is simply so you can let us know you aren't stealing other peoples work and submitting it. If you do, we will embarrass you all over the internet, and send rabid dogs to eat your face. We also are using web-rez for mockups of the layout. If any of your work is chosen to be in the film, we will let you know to gather HI REZ jams.
