    Participating in any SOCA All Stars Inc. program is a privilege, not a right. As a member of the Ruby Red All Stars dance program I understand that my behavior affects not just myself, but my team, coaches and staff. In acknowledgment of this, I am signing my behavioral contract.

     

    I Agree To Be Safe

    -I will wait in the designated area for my instructor.
    -I will not leave the area without permission.
    -I will sign out if I'm picked up during dance.
    -I will not chew gum or food while dancing as it is a safety hazard.
     

    I Agree To Be Respectful

    -I will be respectful and KIND to my dance sisters, coaches, staff and all adults present.
    I will not move or talk once I am in SET.
    I will not use profanity or get into fights.
    I will set a great example for my younger dance sisters.
    I will conduct myself in a good manner in and out of practice.
    I will be mindful of my body language and maintain a positive attitude.
     

    I Agree To Be Responsible For Myself

    -I will maintain a GPA 2.5 and above as a dancer or 3.0 and above in any leadership position.
    -I agree to be on time to practice, performances, and events or notify my coaches.
    -I will bring appropriate clothing for class (no jeans, sweaters or loose clothing).
    -I will keep all of my belongings together and leave with them at the end of class.
    -I will wear a black leotard or black fitted dance wear and black jazz shoes on Technique Tuesday.
     

    I Agree To Cooperate

    -I will leave my cellphone on silent and packed away during practice.
    -I will practice at home and give 100% during practice.
    -I will follow the dance instructor's direction at all times.
    -I will work as a team member and be supportive of my dance sisters.

  • As a member of the SOCA All Stars Inc Organization and a Ruby Red All Stars dance team member, I understand that I am an unofficial ambassador of my team and that I           will be given three strikes: a verbal warning, a written warning and then a consequence on my third strike.

    COMMITMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT 

    Welcome to the 2026 - 2027 dance season! Participating in any of the SOCA AIl Stars Inc Program is a privilege, not a right. As a member of the Ruby Red All Stars dance program, for the dancer who loves to perform, our program provides an opportunity to learn, advance, showcase, and compete. Team activities include competing in dance competitions, and performing at other venues during the year, in addition to team bonding experiences such as team rehearsals, dinners, planned activities, and lock-ins.

    Our dance team requires a higher level of commitment for both the dancer and the parents. This packet has been put together to hopefully outline what is expected of the dancer and their families.

    The following are policies necessary for a smooth and productive year. It is of the utmost importance that each dancer and guardian read and understand this agreement.

    Please make all family members aware of our policies to avoid conflicts during the year. This includes anyone who may drive the dancer to and from practices/performances, pay for tuition/fees, or attend performance events.

  • COMMITMENT CONTRACT

    Our goal is to provide quality dance education in a supporting and caring environment. Our company's program is intended to support this goal, while also giving students additional opportunities to perform as well as learn teamwork, dedication, and responsibility. The following outlines our expectations of our dancers.

    1. Be a good teammate: including dancers, not on your own team. Congratulate each team member by name after performances, offer to do their hair during a quick change, or lend them your mirror! Small things like that go a long way towards building team spirit.
    2. Be a good Team Sister/Brother! This year each senior dancer will be paired with another junior dancer to be Team Sisters! It is your duty as a BIG sister to assist your LITTLE sister including but not limited to leaving encouraging notes, assisting with costumes, bettering their dance level, cheering them on, helping with homework and so on.
    3. Be respectful of others! Whether it's in the studio, outside the studio, at competitions, performances and wherever we gather as a team. Say please and thank you to your coaches, staff at competitions, etc Please be respectful and kind to your dance sisters, coaches, staff and all adults present. There is zero tolerance for PROFANITY, BULLYING, FIGHTING, and DISRESPECT!
    4. Don't direct your teammates! Do not direct fellow dancers unless you are told to do so. While I do expect you to hold your dance sisters accountable, please refrain from negatively critiquing while in practice. If something needs to be addressed, please pull your coach aside and speak to them one on one because what we want may be different from your point of view.
    5. Speak kindly to your teammates! This one explains itself, but sometimes I feel like our dancers spend so much time together and know each other so well that you think you can say whatever you want to each other. Think before you speak. Be inclusive of everyone. Be careful about what you say (again, especially on social media and in text/email. Please remember that a lot of communication is lost when the person you are talking to cannot hear your voice and read your body language. Being sarcastic via text message sometimes comes across as being mean. Think about what you write and how it might be received. As a team, we hope to provide you with the opportunity to learn, grow, perform, and make life-long friends!
    6. Ask for help if you need it. From your teammates and Coaches.
    7. Clean up after yourself! We love that the studio feels like home to so many of you! But remember that it's also home to a hundred kids beside you. Pick up all your belongings and throw away your trash; it's just good manners.
    8. Be prepared! For class, competition and performnances. BE EARLY! Have your hair and makeup done. Stretch and warm up. Be ready to work.
    9. Be a role model! Demonstrate good teamwork and good behavior on and off the dance floor.
    10. Language! Always use clean and appropriate language. Don't gossip! The studio is a public space. Don't be mean! Don't be judgmental!
    11. Social Media! Please be aware that nothing you share on social media is private. Use clean language and do not post anything inappropriate. If you post team pictures, make sure everyone is included/tagged. Don't leave people out/crop people out of pictures, etc. Please do not post videos of choreography more than 20 seconds long during the season. 
    12. Please remember that your behavior is a reflection on this program and that any negative consequences will be enforce as per the "Behavior Contract."
    13. School Comes First! Please be sure to work hard to complete all school assignments and keep a 2.5 GPA. If your GPA falls below 2.5, you will be asked to sit out or be put on mandatory tutoring until your grades have improved. 3.0 mandatory for stand battle and performance teams. Report Cards are to be given in person or emailed to SOCAAllstars@gmail.com every quarter. Please work together to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible on our Dance Team!

    TERMS AND AGREEMENT

     

    By being part of the Dance Company, you agree to attend all weekly classes as scheduled; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and /or  Mondays and Fridays if your child is part of Stand Battle and/or Performance Team. You agree to report to practice from 6:00 p.m. - 8 p.m., 5:30 p.m. as requested. In the case of planned absences, please notify us or one of your coaches within 2 hours of practice or a reasonable time. If your child is absent due to an immediate emergency, then please make sure to notify us ASAP. Each student has up to 3 no show, no call, unexcused absences before they are to be put on probation.

    Terms of probations will be determined by the coaches; this could include but is not limited to: Exclusions from upcoming events or competitions and suspension. Dress Code: All dancers are to be in fitted clothing (such as leotards, sport bras, tank tops, tights, etc) Dancers should be in team colors (RED, PINK, GOLD, WHITE or BLACK) Tennis shoes are required daily and Jazz shoes on Tuesdays. Hair is to be a certain length no longer than yor waist "this is for safety reasons." No hair beads, no jewelry (only studs are acceptable during performances and stand battle), no chewing of gum during practice nor performances/stand battle.

  • Please work together to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible on our Dance Team! I have read and agree with the Code of Conduct and understand the results of the consequences as stated in the Behavioral Contract.

    You agree to follow the agreed payment schedule which is due on the 15th of every month. Note: you have until the 20th of every month to pay that month's tuition. *should there be any complications or known delays in payments please reach out to a coach, we'd be happy to work with you.

    Understand that if you or your child purposefully causes serious injury (emotional or physical) to another child, parent, or staff member, said persons may be immediately removed from the program and may not be granted re-entry into the program. WE DO NOT TOLERATE BULLYING! 

    Please sign to agree; it is mutually understood that the parent or child should fail to meet the responsibilities as outlined in this agreement, that your child can be removed from the Dance Team.
